To help you plan your arrival / transfer, we have compiled a brief guide based on the feedback from travelers who visited Tokyo Haneda Airport.
The airport is divided into 3 terminals, T1, T2, and the International Terminal. T1 and T2 supervise all domestic flights and are connected by an underground passage. A free shuttle bus connects all 3 terminals to the public area.
This airport is bed-friendly with many modern Japanese amenities, including clean rooms, many charging slots, and decent sleeping areas. Personnel and security are usually not against night guests.
Travelers feel very safe in Haneda.

In this guide, we can refer to places such as the “public access zone” and the “air zone”. The common access zone is a public area located in front of the pre-flight security control zone. Airside — the protected area of the terminal, where you get after passing pre-flight control.

Free WiFi is available at Tokyo Haneda Airport. Connect to the HANEDA-FREE-WIFI network. Register with a name and a valid email address. A paid service is available for those who need secure, high-speed WiFi.

If you are not attracted to sleep at the airport, there are hotels near the airport:
Royal Park Hotel The Haneda — directly connected to the International Terminal. The hotel has a transit floor, which is only available in the safe area of the terminal. In addition to hotel rooms, you can book a Refresh Room (TV, sofa and shower) to cool off. Whatever you choose in the price includes free access to the transit hall (drinks, food, magazines).
First Cabin Tokyo Haneda is a budget capsule hotel with rooms that resemble airplane cabins. Rooms are for single use only, no private bathroom. Located in the internal terminal 1 on the arrival floor 1 F (public access area). Prices are available for short stays at various times throughout the day, starting at 800 yen. If you need to move between terminals, you can use the free shuttle bus or monorail (passport and ticket required).
Haneda Excel Hotel — (3 min. From the airport) is located in the internal terminal 2 (common area), direct access from the departure area. Monorail is available for transfer. 3 rooms available for 3, 6 or 8 hours.

Additional Services, Facilities and Things you can do while at the airport
Art at the airport — art exhibitions, with an emphasis on the history of Japan, are presented in the lounge with soft seating in the Discovery Museum. Location: T2, 3 F, lobby opening hours: 11:00 am — 6:30 pm Mon-Fri / 10:00 am — 6:30 pm on weekends and public holidays.
ATMs — there are thirteen ATMs in terminal 1 and nine in terminal 2. ATMs throughout the airport operate on a different schedule. 24-hour ATMs at the International Terminal in these locations: common access area, 2 F, arrival area (Prestia / SMBC Trust Bank and Seven Bank) • common access area, 3 F, departure area (Sumitomo Mitsui Bank and Resona Bank) • airspace, 3 F, exits 109-111 and 112-114 (Mizuho Bank).

Terminal 1: six kindergartens are located on the 1st floor / arrival zone (common access area) and nine kindergartens are on the 2nd floor / departure zone (common access zone and air zone).
Terminal 2: seven kindergartens located on the 1st floor / arrival zone (common access zone), nine on the 2nd floor / departure zone (common access zone and airspace), and one each on the 3rd and 4th floors. Airport lounges are equipped with multi-purpose toilets equipped with changing tables and small urinals for little boys. If you need a wheelchair, you can take it to any information desk.
Baggage carts — available free of charge throughout the airport and at the forks of trains, parking lots, etc.
Banks — Mizuho Bank offers a full service, currency exchange and ATM. Located in the International Terminal, Shared Access Zone, 1 F, Entrance Plaza • T1, 1 F retail space Opening hours: from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm only on weekdays (closed on Sat, Sun and public holidays).
Hairdresser — airport hairdresser offers express services. Location: T1, common access area, 1 F, shopping area. Hours: 9:00 am — 6:00 pm (open until 5:00 pm on Sundays and holidays).
Business center — color printers and coin-operated PCs with Internet access. Location: T2, airside, 2 F, near exits 65-66.

Currency exchange — seven currency exchange kiosks located on the territory of the International Terminal, most of which operate on different schedules. Terminal 2 — Travelers at Terminal 2 can dine at the easy and convenient Automat Gourmet 24, a restaurant consisting exclusively of vending machines and seating. Hot and cold dishes, snacks, bento, rice balls, as well as hot and cold drinks are available in these vending machines. Location: T2, 1 F hall Hours: open 24 hours.
Haneda Airport Memorial Stamp — a small reminder of your journey, purchase souvenir stamped paper or stamp your own document or item. Location: on information desks in T1, 2 F, hall in the North and South • T2, 2 F, hall in the North and South. Cost: Unknown
Reference Bureau — five information desks at the International Terminal. Looking for? symbol. Location: common access area, 1 F, Entrance Plaza • common access area, 2 F, arrival area • common access area, 3 F, departure zone • airside, 3 F, near exits 111-112 (two racks). “Concierge” in the jade-green clothing staff racks, as well as detached in the hall, willing to help those who need it. Terminal 1 has an Information Center, 1 F retail space, open from 5:00 am to 1:00 am. Terminal 2 has six information desks. Japanese temple — pray in the Shinto temple of the airport. Location: T1, 1 Ftorgovaya square. We welcome everyone, but if you prefer a non-denominational place for prayer, see the prayer room in the list below.
Juveniland Tokyo — find out what happened before you invented video games! A story of toys, memories and nostalgia are on display through an exhibition of antique and vintage toys, and much more, including the Kitahara Collection. You can even play with some toys! Location: T1, 3 F retail space.
The hall for children is a bright and colorful Rodi-themed restaurant consisting of three zones: a children’s cafe, a toy / souvenir shop and a play area with branded toys and the world’s largest ice rink. For those of you who are wondering, Rhodi is a cute little Italian cartoon foal! Location: T1, 2 F, south hall. Opening hours: from 9:00 am — 6:30 pm.
Laundry — a convenient service for passengers departing and returning to this airport, you can leave your dirty laundry here and pick up clean laundry after returning (at least 4 days). Location: T1, B1F, South Hall • T2, B1F, Hall Opening hours: from 9:00 am — 6:00 pm.
Luggage storage and lockers — enjoy your time free of baggage with storage of your baggage at the airport! At the International Terminal, the cost is ¥ 300 — ¥ 800 per bag per day, depending on the size, and ¥ 200 per day for outerwear. The maximum shelf life is two weeks. Some oversized or non-standard items may not be accepted. Two locations: International Terminal, Station Square, 2nd Floor, Arrival at the Lobby • International Terminal, Shared Area, 3 F, Departure Zone, Terminals 1 and 2 offer storage at a price of ¥ 300 — ¥ 900 per bag per day, depending on size, and ¥ 300 per day for outerwear. Location: T1, B1F, South Hall • T2, B1F, Hall Opening hours: from 6:00 am to 10:30 pm, luggage can be stored for up to 7 days in coin boxes. Cost is ¥ 300 per day for a small locker, or ¥ 500 per day for a large locker. International Terminal: common access area, 2 F, arrival zone • common access area, 3 F, in the departure area of terminal 1 there are coin lockers in ten places in B1F, 1 F, and 2 F. Terminal 2 has seven places in B1F, 1 F, and 2 F.

Massage — Raffine Refreshment Salon offers a variety of treatments, including reflexology. Location: common area, 4 F. Hours: unknown
Medical Services — Urgent and emergency medical care is provided in the following locations: Toho University Haneda Airport International Terminal Clinic. Location: International Terminal, Shared Access Zone, 1 F, Entrance Plaza Hours: 9:00 am to 11:00 pm (Weekends from 12:00 am to 1:00 pm, reception until 10:00 pm) • Tokyo International Airport Clinic Location: T1, 1 F retail space Opening hours: from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 1:00 pm — 5:00 pm • Emergency veterinary care is available in Terminal Dental Clinic Location: T1, 1 F market Opening hours: from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm — 6:30 pm • Toho University Haneda Airport Clinic Location: T2, 1 F, Hall Opening hours: from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm — 10:00 pm
Mobile Chargers — in the International Terminal, passengers can charge their mobile devices to the @TIAT Station. Massage chairs, PC tables and vending machines are available for your comfort and convenience. Location: a common access zone and an air terminal in the International Terminal — 1 F (Entrance Plaza and exits 131-139), 2 F (arrival and exits zone 141-144 / 147-148), 3 F (departure zone and exits 105-108 , 112-114, 109-111, and 145-146), and 5 F (Tokyo Pop Town). Autonomous mobile charging stations are available in the airside only at 2 F at terminals 1 and 2. Information racks located at terminals 1 and 2 (at 2F and B1F) offer free mobile charging services as well.
Observation deck — in the International Terminal, passengers can go to Tokyo Pop Town, where there is also a special platform for observing the moon. Location: common access area, 5 F. Terminal 1 has observation platforms at 6E and on the roof. Sky Station serves food and beer on the observation deck at 6 F. At the Terminal 2, passengers can enjoy dinner on the observation deck at 5 F, at the West Park Cafe Sky Fountain, or dine in the restaurant overlooking the observation deck at Castelmola or Scenic Cafe MMC. Several other restaurants offer lunch overlooking the runway. Viewing platforms are open from 6:30 am to 10:00 pm.
Hotel for animals — for small dogs, cats and other pets. Reservations required. Fees for accommodation and cleaning / cutting services are also available. Location: entrance to the parking of the international terminal in the area of the airfield P4 (1 F), but you can stay in T1, 2 F, North wing.

Shower — refresh yourself after a long flight in the soul of the airport. You can rent one of the fifteen showers for ¥ 1,030 for 30 minutes per person, and ¥ 520 for an additional 15 minutes. The fee includes drinks on the coupon. Towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner and hairdryer. Razors, toothbrushes and other toiletries are available for purchase. TIAT Sky Road — Aviation-themed panel and model aircraft on display at TIAT Sky Road, the corridor that connects TIAT Sky Road, Festival Plaza and viewing platforms at 5 F. Try your hand at piloting an airplane on an air simulator! Cost: Unknown
The international terminal operates around the clock. Terminals 1 and 2 are open from 5:00 am — 12:00 pm.
At Haneda Airport, the International Passenger Terminal has two lines that connect the airport with Tokyo and the city center: the Keikyu Line from the metro station and the Tokyo Monorail line from the international terminal station. Haneda Airport is linked to various places throughout the Kanto region. Find a ticket booking counter or machine to find out the schedule and buy a ticket. Tickets must be purchased before boarding.
A free shuttle bus to the airport carries tourists between the terminals of international and domestic flights. Opening hours: from 5:00 am to 12:00 pm. Frequency: every 6 minutes. Points of departure: Terminal 1, bus number 8, 1st floor. and terminal 2, bus number 9, 1st floor.
Taxi ranks are located near the station square on the 1st floor. To catch the flight, go to the third floor. If you meet the arriving passenger, go to the second floor.
