In this section you will find reviews of travelers who visited the airport, as well as our guide to the airport of Tirana, with information about Wi-Fi, cafes, amenities and services …. and yes, even the names of some hotels near the airport in case you decide that sleeping at the airport is not for you.
“There are several soft benches inside, one of them is right next to the socket (to charge the laptop and use Wi-Fi), and I seriously think that there is hardly anyone who will disturb you at night.”
To help you plan your waiting time for a transfer or an overnight stay at the airport, we have compiled for you generalized information from traveler reviews about their stay at Rinas International Airport, Tirana.
- A small, modern international airport, with clean common areas and a small number of shops and restaurants with reasonable prices. One reviewer noted that the duty-free store prices are too high, so it may be better to go shopping elsewhere.
- Free wifi available. See the Wi-Fi section in the airport overview below.
- Soon after the arrival / departure of the last flights, the airport becomes almost a ghost town. Very quiet and without any loud announcements during the night.
- It is better to take with you the necessary set of food and drinks to eat after closing restaurants.
There is a very small number of benches in the reception area. But the people who stay overnight at this airport are also few, so you can probably get a whole bench at your disposal if you decide to spend the night. For extra comfort, use a sleeping bag or travel mat!
For uninterrupted sleep, there are hotels near the airport. See the Airport Hotels section in the overview below.
Economy class passengers for a fee can enter the first class recreation area. See Airport Recreation Zones in the overview below.
