In this guidebook we can refer to the location of «outside» and «inside.» «Outside» is a public area of the terminal, located in the unguarded part, before passing the security check. “Inside” is a protected area of the terminal, which you can reach after passing through security checks.
The airport consists of two terminals. Terminal 1 is used for cargo, passenger and charter flights. Another terminal (Terminal 2) is used for low cost airlines.

Hotel Mango Hotel — (15 minutes from the airport). Transfer to the airport is not provided.
Hotel Hotelli Ville — (16 minutes from the airport). A transfer to the airport is not provided, but you can take bus number 1 from bus stop 2506 (Hatanpään valtatie), on the opposite corner of the street from the hotel and get to Tampere Pirkkala airport.

Route number 1 of public transport follows from the airport to the city center.
Tokee lines offer transfers to Tampere Railway Station.
The following car rental companies are present in the Arrivals hall of Terminal 1: Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, Scandia Rent and Sixt.
Taxis are easy to order when leaving the terminals T1 and T2.
