There are two operating terminals: one for domestic flights, as well as an international terminal, which was opened in 2013.
There is a transfer from the airport to the city center, working until 12 o’clock at night.
Beware of scammers in taxis, especially after the transfer from the airport stops working.
Outside the baggage claim area there are two recreation areas with a large number of seats, although it can be difficult to take them. Avoid sleeping next to the coffee machine, as it is too loud to work.
For uninterrupted sleep, there are hotels within walking distance of the airport, although only one of them provides airport transfers.
Economy class travelers can pay to access one of the hotel’s lobby at the airport.

At the airport, two zones. Landside is a public, uncontrolled area of a terminal located in an unprotected security zone. Airside is a safe area of the terminal that you reach by going through security.
If you are an economy class traveler, you can enter the lounges at Haikou Airport either by purchasing a lounge pass or through the membership program. Visit the separate page for more details.
First Class Lounge — Location: International Terminal, Airside. Opening hours: it opens 5 minutes before the check-in of the first international flight — until the last international flight. Lounge Access: Pay at the front door (CNY150)
The airport has free Wi-Fi. Connect to the “Airport WiFi Free-Meilan” or “@ AIRPORT-FREE-WiFi” networks. To log in, you need to log in through a mobile phone. In addition to Wi-Fi, the airport offers free PCs and tablets for use on Internet stations located throughout the airport. You can find them at the international terminal for boarding or at this internal gate for landing: 2 • 4 • 9 • 12 • 14 • 30-34 • 50-53.
If sleeping at Haikou Airport is not for you, there are hotels near the airport.
Haikou Meiya Hotel — (3 minutes from the airport) There is no transfer from the airport, but you can walk to the hotel lightly in 15 minutes.
Haikou Meile Hotel Meilan Airport- (3 minutes from the airport) There is no airport transfer, but you can walk to the hotel lightly in 15 minutes.
Eadry Royal Garden Hotel — (5 minutes from the airport) free airport transfer

ATMs — ATMs are located in the international departures zone (Landside, opposite the information counter) and domestic departures (opposite the entrance / exit from door 2 and the controlled area in the west wing).
Childcare — to feed and care for children in comfort and privacy is possible in the room of the mother and child. There is a changing table, sink, comfortable sofa and more. Two places: Domestic terminal, in the controlled area, opposite landing 20 • International terminal, Landside, on the right in the departure hall.
Currency exchange — Tonghui Currency Co offers currency exchange in these places: in the halls of international departures (opposite the first class lounge) and international arrivals (to the left of the exit). Opening hours: Open from the 1st international flight to the last.
Duty free Shopping — DFS Hainan Market offers duty free trade at the international terminal from 9:00 — 10:00 PM. A wide range of goods, products, souvenirs of local artisans and much more, is located in the domestic terminal.
Food and Drinks — Food items throughout the airport operate on different schedules, many are open in accordance with the daily flight schedule. There are currently no restaurants 24 hours. Some cafes include: Baskin-Robbins • Burger King • Cafe Ritazza • Esenco Illy • McDonald’s • Mengzi Noodle Shop • Spices • Starbucks • Toasty Toasty
Baggage packing — Prices: no data. Location: Domestic Terminal, Landside, to the West of Door Entry / Exit 2 (Opening Hours: According to Flight Schedule) and East of Door Entry / Exit 4 (Hours: 5:00 AM — 8:30 PM) • International the terminal, Landside, next to the check-in desks on arrival at the bureau 109 (opening hours: in accordance with the flight schedule).

Special “airport buses” offer express service between the airport and the city center at an affordable price. The bus stop is at gate 4 on the 1st floor of the inner arrival hall. For route information, visit the Haikou Meilan International Airport website.
A public bus on route 41 connects the airport with Haikou Port. Buses run every 15 minutes from 6:10 am to 9:00 pm. The cost of a ticket is up to 6 yuan for one trip, depending on the destination. Taxis are easy to order in the transport department near gate 3 on the 1st floor of the arrival hall. For security reasons, hire only licensed taxis and always insist on using a meter.
High-speed railways connect the airport (via Meilan station) to the city center. To get to Meilan station from the terminal, you need to go from gate 2 on the 2nd floor of the departure hall or gate 2 on the 1st floor of the arrival hall.
