In total, there are about a hundred wedding days, when marriage will bring good luck and prosperity. But Orthodox traditions prohibit getting married in fasting and church holidays.
The calendar does not include local, temple patronal holidays, in which weddings are also not held. Days of temple holidays, you can specify in the temple in which you are going to get married. Be sure to specify the date of the wedding in the temple!
In January, it is allowed to get married on 21, 23, 25, 26, 28, 30. The days on which the registrar holds solemn marriage registrations, which coincide with these wedding days, are two Fridays on January 23 and January 30.
In February, newlyweds can be crowned only three days on the 9th, 11th, and 23th. If you want to combine the official ceremony and the wedding, the 13th number will suit you — Friday.
According to the wedding calendar in March of the year, not a single day is suitable for the ceremony. This is due to the fact that Lent continues throughout the entire month, and according to Orthodox canons one cannot get married.
Newlyweds can consecrate their union in April 19, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27 and 29 April. With registration at the registry office, only one Friday in the month coincides — the 24th, when it is possible to have time for both the church and the civil ceremony in one day.
In May, the following numbers are allotted for the wedding: 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 17, 18, 22, 24, 25, 27, 29. On the other days, you cannot get married. The great feast — the day of the Holy Trinity — falls on May 31.
On this day, the rite is not carried out. All Fridays in May coincide with the days of official registrations — 1, 8, 15, 22, 29.

In September, the Orthodox Church celebrates several big holidays. September 11 is the feast of the beheading of John the Baptist. September 21 is the Nativity of the Virgin, and 27 is the feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross.
These days you can not get married.
You can hold a church ceremony on September 2, 4, 6, 7, 9, 13, 14, 16, 18, 23, 25, 28, 30. Of these days, three Fridays coincide with the work of the registry office — 4, 18 and 25.
Wedding in October of the year is allowed on October 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11, 12, 16, 18, 19, 21, 23, 25, 26, 28, 30, 30. Newlyweds who want to have time to formalize relationships in the church and in the registry office can choose any Friday in the month — 2, 9, 16, 23, 30.
October 14 is the feast day of the Intercession of Our Lady, in which there will be no weddings in the church.
In November you can get married on November 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 11, 13, 15, 16, 18, 20, 22, 23, 25. From these days you can choose for official marriage registration three Fridays — November 6, 13, 20.
