The origins of the church holiday
In the Gospels described the sacrament committed on this day on Mount Tabor, our Savior — Jesus Christ. He told them that he would suffer a heavy punishment for all human sins and would be crucified for the sake of all the living and for the salvation of human souls.

How will the day of the Transfiguration be celebrated
