Feast of the Holy Trinity June 4
Trinity — one of the main holidays in the Orthodox religion. It is celebrated on the fiftieth day after the celebration of Easter and has its own traditions and customs.
The holiday is among the Great Seasons and is the second largest after Holy Easter. This time is also called Pentecost, because the Gospel events recalled on this day occurred on the fiftieth day after the Resurrection of Christ.
Celebration of the Holy Trinity
This event will happen on June 4th. All Orthodox Christians on this day go to a solemn divine service, taking with them the birch branches for consecration. Churches and temples are also decorated with birch twigs, and the floor is covered with mowed grass and fresh wildflowers.
The priests in honor of the great holiday wear green clothes and praise the Holy Trinity.
Birch branches must be brought home and placed next to the home iconostasis. They perfectly protect families from the negative impact, protect against diseases and sorrows.
On the day of the Holy Trinity, herbs gain special power, and everyone can collect medicinal fees for the treatment and recovery of the body. Our ancestors, when gathering herbs, necessarily shed tears on the plucked bunches of plants so that the summer would not be arid.
On June 4, believers pray for their deceased relatives, and also repent of their sins, praying the Higher Forces for forgiveness and admonition on the righteous path. Prayers can be read at home before the images, but with obligatory bowing to the ground. On the day of celebration, everyone can sincerely ask Heaven for help and protection.
It is believed that at this time, the Voice of God proclaims the identity of Orthodoxy, and the Lord forgives all sincerely repentant sinners, endowing the souls with divine grace.
On this great day, everyone has the power to change his life and reconsider his views on attitudes towards others. Fill the day and your home with joy and smiles, so that every day only positive and well-being will bring you.
