Tiramisu preparing 15 minutes! In winter, I make a classic version with espresso, and in the summer I start experimenting.
Oh, what a delicious tiramisu I got the other day!
I flavored cream with green basil, and instead of coffee, I took fresh strawberries.
Basil and strawberry have long since become a classic combination, in many restaurants the chefs serve the main June berry with them.
For decoration, basil leaves are usually rolled up into a tight tube, similar to a cigar, and cut into small threads that convey their herbal flavor to the dish.
And if you add basil to the cream and warm it up, then it will give them its magic smells, so that later they will migrate to the white air mass of mascarpone and cream.
Basil will be in every cell tiramisu and it will be unobtrusive and summer-like to remind oneself freshly of ripe, sun-soaked strawberries, the softest cream and biscuits.
Such tiramisu is possible only in June, so do not delay happiness!
Strawberry Tiramisu with Basil
What you need:
- 1 kg of strawberries
- 3 eggs
- 250 g Mascorpone cheese
- 200 ml of whipping cream (fat 33%)
- 1 pack of Savoyardi cookies (or about 25 pieces)
- 150 g sugar
- large sprig of green basil
What to do:
Pour the cream in a small saucepan, then put the basil in the same place.
Over medium heat, bring to a boil, cover and leave for 15 minutes to basil give their aromas to the cream. Take out the basil and put the cream in the refrigerator.
When you beat them, they must be very, very cold.
Separate the whites from the yolks.
Mixer whisk whites with sugar to make a thick foam to the peaks, which should keep its shape well and not fall off.
Then add the mascarpone, yolks and mix all the ingredients with a mixer at medium speed.
In another container, beat the cold cream and gently insert them into the mascarpone mass.
Gently mix with a silicone spatula to keep the cream airy.
Punch half a strawberry in a blender to make a puree.
Cut the rest of the strawberries into quarters.
Take a large square or rectangular shape with high sides.
Spread a third of the mass over its bottom, place a layer of cookies on top and cover with half the strawberry puree. Then put another layer, again cookies, again mashed potatoes and cream residue on top.
Smooth out the sliced strawberries.
Now be patient — tiramisu Must be infused in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours!
