Put the prepared tomatoes and saffron in the pan along with the water in which it is soaked.

Stir and simmer for 2 minutes.

Pour in 1 liter of chicken broth, bring to a boil, reduce the heat to medium and cook without a lid, stirring for 12 minutes, until all the liquid is absorbed.

Check if rice is ready.

If necessary, add another 0.5 cups (not more!) Of chicken broth and keep on medium heat until rice reaches readiness.

Add chicken pieces.

Mussels put in a colander and rinse with warm water. Add them to the pan and cook another 3 minutes. For traditional Spanish paella, mussels are used in shells.

It is definitely beautiful, but not very comfortable.

Therefore, you can buy fresh frozen prawns and mussels.
