Import of any products is prohibited in Russia

Russian government approved list of foreign agricultural products, to which Russian sanctions imposed.

Prohibitions and restrictions apply to products from the European Union, Norway, USA, Canada, Australia.

The following are prohibited for import into the Russian Federation: meat cattle fresh, chilled and frozen, pork fresh, chilled or frozen, meat and edible offal homemade birds fresh, chilled or frozen (namely meat of domestic chicken, turkeys, ducks, geese and guinea fowls), salted meat, in brine, dried or smoked, including ham, scapula and pork, bacon (slices) and cuts from them , raw meat of cattle, boneless and boneless, as well as edible flour and meal of meat or meat by-products.

The import of meat from primates, whales, dolphins and porpoises, manatees and dugongs, seals, sea lions and walruses, reptiles (including snakes and turtles) is also prohibited.

Government ordinance also applies sausage and similar products from meat, meat offal or blood; finished food products made on their basis, produced in the above countries, including liver, sausage, dry or pasty.

In addition, the importation into Russia is prohibited fish and crustaceans, mollusks and other aquatic invertebrates, namely, live fish, fresh or chilled fish, frozen fish, fish fillets and other fish meat, including minced meat, dried fish, salted or in brine; smoked fish; fine flour and coarse meal and pellets of fish, suitable for human consumption; crustaceans, whether in shell or not, live, fresh, chilled, frozen, dried, salted or in brine; smoked crustaceans, whether in shell or not, not cooked or cooked before or during the smoking process.

The following fish are prohibited from being imported: salmon, flatfish, tuna, herring, anchovies, sardines, sprat or sprats, mackerel, horse mackerel, cobia, swordfish, tilapia, catfish, carp, eel, Nile lattes and snakeheads.

It is prohibited to import crustaceans in shell, boiled or boiled in water, cooled or uncooled, frozen, dried, salted or in brine; flour, meals and pellets of crustaceans, suitable for human consumption; clams, in or without shell, live, fresh, chilled, frozen, dried, salted or in brine; smoked molluscs, whether in a shell or not, not cooked or cooked before or during the smoking process; flour, coarse flour and pellets from mollusks, suitable for human consumption; aquatic invertebrates, live, fresh, chilled, frozen, dried, salty or in brine; smoked aquatic invertebrates, not cooked or cooked before or during the process of smoking; flour, meal and pellets from aquatic invertebrates.

Sanctions touched milk and dairy products from the USA and EU countries. Forbidden to be imported will not be imported milk and cream; buttermilk, curdled milk and cream, yoghurt, kefir and other fermented or fermented milk and cream, with or without added sugar or other sweeteners, with or without flavoring, with or without the addition of fruit, nuts or cocoa; milk serum; products from natural ingredients of milk, with or without added sugar or other sweeteners; butter and other fats and oils made from milk; milk paste; cheeses and cottage cheese.

Prohibited the importation of cheeses and cottage cheese based on vegetable fats and food products (milk-based products based on vegetable fats).

In the number of banned hit vegetables, edible roots and tubers, fresh or chilled, including potatoes; tomatoes; bulb onion, shallot, garlic, leek and other bulbous vegetables; cabbage, cauliflower, kohlrabi, cabbage, and similar edible vegetables of the genus Brassica; lettuce and chicory; carrots, turnips, table beet, salsify, celery root, radish and other similar edible roots; cucumbers and gherkins; bean vegetables, peeled or unshelled, as well as canned vegetables for short-term storage, dried vegetables, whole, cut into pieces, sliced, chopped or in powder form, but not subjected to further processing; vegetables legumes dried, peeled, peeled, or unpeeled, pounded or not chipped; manioc, arrowroot, salep, ground pear, or Jerusalem artichoke, sweet potato, or sweet potato, and similar root and tuber crops with a high content of starch or inulin; core of the sago palm.

Prohibited are fruits and nuts from the US and the EU: coconuts, Brazil nuts and cashews, fresh or dried, shelled or not peeled, with or without peel; other nuts, fresh or dried, shelled or unpeeled, with or without peel; bananas, including plantains, fresh or dried; dates, figs, pineapples, avocados, guayava, mango and mangosteen, or garcinia, fresh or dried; citrus fruits, fresh or dried; grapes, fresh or dried; melons (including watermelons) and papaya, fresh; apples, pears and quinces, fresh; apricots, cherries and cherries, peaches (including nectarines), plums and thorns, fresh; fruits and nuts, whether or not cooked in boiling water or steamed, frozen, with or without added sugar; fruits and nuts, canned for short-term storage; dried fruits; mixtures of nuts or dried fruits of this group.

The ban did not cover import of eggs, vegetable oil, pasta, honey, all alcohol, some types of meat (nothing is said about lamb, goat meat, rabbit meat) and baby food.

It is emphasized that the embargo of the Russian Federation on products from Western countries does not apply to the importation of goods by individuals, that is, from the trip to bring something from the sanctions list is not prohibited.
