Eggs are one of the most versatile products. It is a source of animal protein and vitamin D, which helps the body absorb calcium.

Cook hard-boiled — it’s safer for children, and use them to make breakfast and lunch, then the baby will feel full longer.

Here are 5 ideas for breakfast.

We use for their preparation hard boiled eggs plus only available and common products. All recipes are given either for two very hungry children with a big appetite, or small eaters will need your help:

one. Guacamole: 1 cut the avocado in half, remove the bone. Remove the pulp with a spoon, mash with a fork and sprinkle with lemon juice and season with salt (or soy sauce, if your child already eats it). Mash 2 boiled eggs with a fork, mix with avocado.

Serve with crackers or toast.

2 «Namazka tuna»: Dice half celery and 1 hard-boiled egg into small cubes. Mix with 100 g canned tuna, preferably in its own juice.

If the tuna pieces are large, mash them beforehand with a fork. Add a little or olive oil, or natural yogurt. Season with salt.

Serve with crackers or toast.

3 «Carrot and Cheese»: Grate 1-2 large carrots on a coarse grater. Finely chop 1 hard-boiled egg. Mix the prepared ingredients with 100 g of feta.

four. «Sweet pepper in pita bread»: On a baking sheet lined with foil, put 4-6 sweet peppers. Bake them at 180 ° C for 25-30 minutes until the skin is blackened, turning it gently once during baking.

Take out and immediately put in a plastic bag. Leave for 10-15 minutes.

Carefully remove the skin.

Use pepper for children’s breakfast, the rest — for other recipes.

You can simply chop them into large pieces, mix with olive oil and use for 1-2 days. Cut the “baby” pepper into long strips, sprinkle with lemon juice and place on Armenian thin pita bread across the width. Spread 2 hard-boiled eggs on top, cut into 4-6 pieces. Sprinkle with finely chopped cilantro (or another spicy herb to your child’s taste, or a green salad) and wrap the pita in a thick roll.

You can put it in the fridge before serving.

Before eating, cut the rolls into rolls that are comfortable for the child.

five. «Muffin snag»: The bottom of the muffin tins, it is convenient to use one form with 6 “grooves” for baking muffins, grease with olive oil and cover with slices of boiled ham. On a fine grater, rub 30-40 grams of hard cheese. Smash 1 egg in each mold, trying not to mix protein with yolk.

Sprinkle with cheese and season with salt. Bake at 180 ° C for 10-12 minutes until the eggs are completely cooked.

Carefully remove the muffins and serve warm with a vegetable salad.

But! Eggs are not recommended for babies up to 6-9 months. Babies from 9 to 12 months can be given a well-cooked yolk and protein.

Eggs for them boil only hard boiled!
