Serious contraindications for the regular intake of smoothies from raw vegetables and fruits are any acute diseases of the gastrointestinal tract — gastritis, colitis, cholecystitis, pancreatitis, as well as pregnancy and breastfeeding. Those who rarely ate raw vegetables and greens, after the first glasses of green smoothies, may experience diarrhea symptoms.

In this case, before starting the detox course, you should gradually accustom your body to the green.

Do not throw green cocktails, as a panacea for all ills, start with small portions, and for any symptoms of indisposition, stop taking it.

Alternate and mix leafy vegetables so as not to eat them too much at one time. After all, for example, so useful spinach, with an overdose can cause kidney stones.

In no case should you switch to green smoothies as the main way of eating: use them once, maximum twice a day, not replacing the main meals, and if you want to arrange a fasting day «on green», do it no more than once in week.Recommendation nutritionists use a cocktail of greens and fruits on an empty stomach, about half an hour before breakfast. If you want to drink such a drink in the afternoon, try not to add fruit to it — because they contain large amounts of sugar.

Well, do not forget that with any detox program you should exclude from the diet confectionery, fried and fatty foods, and begin to move more and walk in the fresh air.

In the summer months, you can gather young nettles in the forest, tear off leaves or dandelion leaves.

But when picking wild plants, be careful — do not pick poisonous grass together with nettles and do not collect greens near roads.
