Long before the appearance of ready-made scrubs, humanity had already rubbed itself with salt, bran, and egg shells. So, we are looking for natural scrubs in our own kitchen.
In nature, animals and birds rub against branches and tree trunks, helping themselves to sharpen claws and beaks, change fur coats, and some, comfortably sitting in a den for winter hibernation, even carefully remove coarse skin from their paws, since they have plenty of time before spring.
So we just need to help ourselves in updating our skin.
For this, people came up with a special procedure and called it «peeling«, That is,» cutting, «exfoliation of the thinnest outer skin layer that has already lost its vitality.
Peeling is done using a scrub, that is, an abrasive mixed with water or some other basis.
After peeling, the skin is cleansed and enriched with oxygen, it becomes elastic, smooth and velvety, dryness and flaking disappear.
Chemical peeling (with the use of acids), brushing, laser, vacuum, cryo-peeling are all serious procedures akin to medical and sometimes surgical, therefore it is more correct to trust them to professionals.
But cosmetic abrasive peeling it is quite possible to carry out independently, saving both on the cost of the service, and on the scrub itself: after all, you always have the best natural ingredients in the refrigerator or on the kitchen shelf.
We just take a little food and in a couple of minutes we make of them not food, but beauty.
So, open the kitchen cupboard.
Here is salt, sugar and candied honey, here tea, flour, bran and oatmeal are ready-made abrasives, they do not even need to be ground.
Nuts, grits, nuts and egg shells, orange peel will have to be ground, and coffee also be cooked.
Now to the refrigerator — for the basis for scrub. Most often in this role are sour cream or cream (for dry skin), kefir or yogurt (for oily skin). Vegetable oil?
Also suitable! And also yolks, honey, freshly squeezed juices and mashed herbs, fruits and vegetables.
And the easiest option is mineral water.
Solid scrub particles for face and décolleté should be very small, and peeling should be done without shifting the skin, without affecting especially delicate areas around the eyes and lips, bypassing moles and pigment spots. Body Scrubs may be somewhat rougher. Here, massage movements should be circular, mainly clockwise (especially in the abdomen), and ascending (for example, from the tips of the fingers to the wrist, then to the elbow, etc.).
The skin should be clean and steamed.
After the procedure, make a nourishing mask, then use a moisturizer.
Needless to get involved in peeling is not worth it. Do this procedure no more than 1-2 times a week for oily skin, for mixed enough 1-2 times a fortnight, for dry you can take three-week breaks.
Otherwise, the body will build protection against aggression — the upper layer of the skin will thicken, its color and texture will deteriorate.
A skin with inflammation and acne, peeling can harm.
Your skin is completely individual, and its reactions to a particular product are unpredictable, so it is always best to make the first scrub sample in a small area.
Ingredients are selected according to your age and features, and only a competent cosmetologist will give accurate recommendations here.

For dry peeling, very sensitive skin is enough to use not too “smooth” mash of tender fruits, such as peach — pieces of flesh and skin will act as an abrasive.
Also fit strawberries, cucumbers, raw potatoes — they will remove the swelling under the eyes, improve complexion.
If more is required deep cleansing, then for dry skin gruel from grinded and oatmeal steamed with boiling water is perfect.
In any scrub well add a little oil — it nourishes and protects the skin, makes cleaning softer.
For dry, normal and combination skin scrub to cook on the basis of cream, sour cream, honey and other emollient products.
Hard scrubs — a mixture of salt and soap, coffee grounds, ground grits or shells with water, as well as sour fruits (lemon, kiwi, pineapple) — are suitable only for very oily, quickly contaminated skin.
