Pasta bolognese — One of the most popular and well-known to us dishes of Italian cuisine, in its essence, represents everyone’s favorite pasta.

Real Italian Homemade Pasta most often made from durum wheat, however there are an infinite number of variations on the topic of cooking pasta that involves the use of a variety of ingredients, sauces and spices during its preparation.

However, there are several of the most popular and so to speak basic types of pasta, which undoubtedly includes one of the most delicious pasta a la bolognese, the main ingredients of which are fresh minced meat, tomatoes and greens. That is what we are now with ease and with great pleasure to prepare.


  • Pasta horns
    (300 g)

  • Chopped meat
    (350g)

  • Parmesan cheese
    (100g)

  • Onion
    (100g)

  • A tomato
    (700g)

  • Garlic
    (5 cloves)

  • Dried basil
    (1 tsp)

  • Dried parsley
    (1 tsp)

  • Olive oil
    (30 ml)

  • Sea salt
    (1/4 tsp)

  • Ground black pepper
    (1/2 tsp)

It is necessary to pre-washed onion cut into strips. After that, you need to fry it for a few minutes in a small amount of vegetable oil until golden brown appears. Then add our mince into the pan, as well as salt and pepper to your own taste. Next, you need to fry until the characteristic golden color, and then put the same finely chopped garlic.

While mince is fried, in a preheated boiling slightly salty water you need to lower the boiled pasta. It must be cooked to the state of “al dente”, i.e. slightly undercooked. In our case, we use the horns for the reason that they are well combined with the specified sauce, but we can take various other types of pasta.

Then peel the tomatoes. It is better to do this by pouring boiling water on them for a few minutes, after making a few cuts on the top of each tomato, after which we can easily get rid of the skin. Cut them into small pieces and add to our stuffing. There also add chopped greens.

The resulting sauce must be mixed and stewed over medium heat for a few minutes until the tomato juice thickens and evaporates.

Next, in our sauce, add the boiled pasta in advance, mix and bring to readiness literally within 1-2 minutes.

Our pasta bolognese is ready! Before serving, you can sprinkle with finely grated cheese and sprinkle with fresh herbs.
